Traditional Tae Kwon Do
Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do provides students with a traditional martial arts program designed to strengthen the body, sharpen the mind, and build self-confidence. Training covers a wide variety of techniques that encourage discipline, respect, and effective self-defense skills. Students practice dynamic kicking techniques, hand strikes and blocks, throwing methods, and traditional weapons training, helping them develop into well-rounded martial artists.
Traditional Training
We are proud to offer a traditional style of Tae Kwon Do training through Moo Duk Kwan. We make sure to follow the techniques from the original teaching as well as the lessons it has to offer – especially the five tenets of Tae Kwon Do.
Personal Discipline
Following traditional training, we heavily emphasize the importance of self-discipline for students. The more mental focus and clarity students gain through class, the more they’ll excel, on and off the mat.
Self-Defense
While our Tae Kwon Do training focuses on the lifestyle, students still learn a lot about self-defense. The different kicks, hand strikes, throwing methods, and weapons they master, the better they’ll know how to defend themselves in a real-life situation.
